Ultimate new car protection with Ceramic Coatings in Surrey
Background
Our client had been waiting for this stunning Audi SQ5 for many months and was looking for a way to protect his vehicle’s paint and maintain its showroom shine. Living in Surrey, and keeping the car outside he often faced challenges such as rain, dirt, and UV exposure that could harm his car’s appearance over time. He was also keen to make looking after the car as easy as possible. After a phone consultation we decided a 5 year ceramic coating would provide the level of protection and durability he desired.
Objectives

Process
Step 1: Safe Wash
Having arrived on site the car was given a thorough wash including a snow foam and two bucket wash including the wheels, arches, door shuts and fuel filler cap and all the exterior bodywork. The body was the dried with drying towels.
Step 2: Vehicle Assessment
We conducted detailed inspection the car’s paintwork, evaluating the paint condition and identifying areas that required extra preparation. Even on a brand new car this step cannot be missed.
Step 3: Paint Correction
Before applying the ceramic coating, we performed a single stage paint correction to eliminate any swirl marks, scratches, and imperfections. (It is amazing how many small imperfections a car’s body can pick up between being built and being delivered) This crucial step enhances the overall appearance, removing minor imperfections, and also cleans the paintwork allowing the ceramic coating to bond to the paintwork correctly. It is essential that these steps are carried out correctly before the application of the ceramic coating.
Step 4: Ceramic Coating Application
After the paint correction the paint is inspected again and then cleaned with a panel wipe to remove any polishing oils. Only then can we carefully apply Pyramid Car Care’s new Trinity ceramic coating. Having worked with Pyramid Car Care for many years applying their two and five year coatings we are proud to be an approved installer and excited by the new Trinity coating.
Step 5: Final Inspection
Once the coating had cured, we conducted a final inspection to ensure everything met our high standards.
